Intrepid 427 Nomad SE was introduced at the 2023 Miami Boat Show.
The first 427 Nomad FE was previously introduced as the front entry console version with fish box / sunpad. The two models share most everything of the deck and forward seating. The project scope of the FE and SE 427s was to build upon the successful 40 foot model line, with our new open transom design, and the feature refinements developed through the latest model development.
The 427 Nomad SE has a larger console that shifts forward to both create dual row helm seating (3 seats wide), and incorporate the sunpad feature into the forward end of the console. With the larger console, additional features include a customizable interior locker area, forward of the generous head compartment.
The 427 Nomads can be powered by a variety of packages up to 3x 600 Mercury engines. Motor selection is incorporated with the open access transom platform and the range of features true to Intrepid: Corner bait wells, fold out transom seat, fishable cockpit, and opening side entries. The deck layout forward has well-conceived seating arrangement with deck side and seat back lockers.
The cockpit features a full-service galley all integrated with the arch to hardtop design. The components are all designed to nest to each other through the windshield and console, as well as the aft row helm seating base. The hardtop further captures ventilation, overhead electronics, and aft sun-shade systems.
As the designer across the full range of Intrepid products, our console, seating, task center, and interior ergonomics are refined through each model specific to the sightlines and overall layouts. Our attention to this detailing assures the helm views, comfort, and usability are always perfectly thought out.
